Friday Fun

Daddy took today off work so we could go to the YMCA day at Fun Spot. We had so much fun . . . even though it was really hot and humid. It was especially fun to have Daddy with us. We rode rides, played games, and got to see a lot of friends too! Maggie and Molly rode almost all the kiddie rides. Here we are on the swings and below we are riding on the lady bugs. Some of the bigger rides were a little fast for Molly.



















She wasn't too crazy about the tilt-a-whirl or the flying balloons, but Maggie really liked them both. Maggie loved mind spinning faster and faster. Everyone (except Caroline) took a turn at the ferris wheel and Maggie bragged about riding the Sea Dragon (the large "boat" that rocks back and forth). She was "a little scared" at the top. The day was extremely humid and poor Caroline finally decided to just take a nap. She only got to ride the merrry-go-round with Daddy and other than that - just watched. As usual, she was a trooper, though!




















In the picture below, Maggie is smiling because she just finished a lunch consisting of a hot dog,
chocolate chip cookie, and McDonalds orange drink. The ideal lunch for a kid! I think Molly just ate the cookie. (An even more ideal lunch for a kid!)



















Before we left we did visit our feline neighbors (the large Tigers and Lions) that live behind us! We often hear them growling when we take our evening family walks. Daddy was sizing them up to see what he's up against . . . just in case. On the way home (2 minute drive) Molly and Caroline fell asleep. The girls all "rested" or slept for awhile so we could get ready for an evening boat ride.
