Christmas Eve with the Stocks

Aunt Amy, Uncle John, Sydney and Hayden came into town the Saturday before Christmas. Saturday night the adults all went to dinner which was a lot of fun. On Sunday we did church and Santa and then Monday was our annual Christmas Eve celebration at Grandma and Grandpa Stock's house. The kids had fun seeing so much of their cousins. Everyone was getting very excited about SANTA!

We went to see Santa at the Potowatomi Inn the Sunday before Christmas. The kids had already been to church and were getting a little sick of sitting . . . especially Hayden. We had a very hectic breakfast with all of the little ones - but we were glad to finally see Santa before the big night!
While waiting for Christmas Eve dinner, I decided a good old game of Simon Says would keep the kids busy for a few minutes . . . "Simon Says, Jump up and down!" (Not Mommy . . . she's drinking a martini!)
Here we all are at the table before dinner . . .
Grandma Stock made a wonderful dinner and considering there were 5 little ones a the table we had a good time. Grandpa Ralston was in town for Christmas and he was able to join us too!
Here are the kids in their jammies (getting ready to go to bed so Santa will come).
But . . . there is one last surprise . . . NEW CARS for everyone! Maggie and Molly were pretty excited about their PINK Barbie cars. As soon as all of our snow melts you might see us all driving around town . . . in fact, Maggie wanted to drive hers to Ohio the day after Christmas. Mommy and Daddy thought she should probably ride with us. Maybe next year.
